A horse drawn white carriage bearing the words 'Ezmae', 'Sister' and 'Pickle' went from the family home in Minster Road, through Halfway and over the Kingsferry Bridge to the Garden of England Crematorium in Bobbing.
In an emotional service led by Canon Francis Moran, readings were given by those close to her including poetry and passages from the bible.
In attendance were more than 150 people, including Kent Police's Special Chief Inspector Fraser Mac Callum, who delivered a Christmas card from the East Kent special constabulary to Ezmae in December, and his colleague Lee Waters.
Many references were made to angels, with the congregation entering to 'Angel' by Sarah McLachlan and paying their respects to 'Borrowed Angels' by Kristin Chenoweth.
Goodbyes were said by the family as she was anointed with holy water.
Ezmae leaves behind parents Claire Morrish and David Catley, and siblings Chloe, 18, Zach, 17, Taylor, 14, and Chiara, 12.
