An inquest was opened today on the woman who died in a Age UK minibus horror crash.
Eileen Murray, known as Pat, was being taken to the charity's day centre on Sheppey for lunch when the vehicle was involved in a head-on crash with a black Peugeot in Marine Parade, Sheerness.
She died later in hospital.
The 77-year-old from The Maples in The Broadway, Minster, had been one of four passengers injured when the minibus crashed at around 9.50am on Wednesday, January 16.
Medics attended the scene and she was taken by ambulance to Medway Maritime Hospital with what appeared to be only minor injuries to her legs.
But in hospital her condition deteriorated and she died the next day.
A post mortem examination has so far been unable to determine the exact cause of death.
Assistant coroner Katrina Hepburn said she was awaiting the results of further toxicology and haematology tests.
Miss Hepburn opened the inquest at 10am and adjourned it until 11am on Monday, May 13, at the Archbishop's Palace in Maidstone.
The Peugeot driver had to be cut free from the wreckage
