A patient had to be stretchered into a waiting helicopter this afternoon.
The Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance landed in The Glen public park at Minster on the Isle of Sheppey just after 2pm today where families were relaxing in the sunshine.

Paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) and the helicopter's medical crew had to manhandle the patient, who was strapped to a stretcher on wheels, across the grass before loading the casualty into the chopper.
A spokesman for SECAmb said: "The air ambulance landed to assist us at a call to a nearby private address which means we cannot comment on the details."
Youngsters on school half-term holiday broke off playing football or using the nearby slides and swings, to gather around the helicopter as it waited for its patient. They had to move back out of the way so it could take off safely just after 3pm.
