A Harty breakfast thanks to Sheppey workshop

Tourism and hospitality businesses learnt how to serve a great Kent breakfast during a workshop at a Sheppey hotel.
The Ferry House Inn, in Harty, is taking part in a scheme which aims to ensure companies that serve a morning meal source at least 60% of their ingredients from within the county.
Representatives from B&Bs, restaurants, pubs and cafes were given advice on menu choices and making produce last longer on Tuesday, October 8.
Guests also sampled typical Kentish ingredients.
Businesses that offer self-catering were given hampers full of local produce to give to their guests as a welcome gift.
The day was organised as part of the Kent Breakfast scheme, which is run jointly by Visit Kent and Produced in Kent.
Sally Roger, of Visit Kent, said: “The feedback has been really positive. It is very encouraging that local businesses have shown a real interest in the campaign.”
