A seven-year-old cat needs a new home after his owner died and he was taken to the Arcadia Cat Hotel, in Minster, near Sheerness.

He is is currently being cared for there by Angela Walder who said: “He is ever so sad.

“He has got a lovely personality and just wants a lap to sit on. He has been crying since he got here because he misses his mum.”

Sooty has been neutered and fully vaccinated and would ideally suit a home without children.
