The pilot for a new reality show set to be picked up by a major TV network is being shot this weekend on Sheppey.
Six celebrities will descend on the Talk of the Town pub in Leysdown to be filmed trying their hands at being landlords.
The names lined-up are Big Brother series 16 star Simon “showbiz” Gross, Britain’s Got Talent performer Paul Manners, musician Amrick Channa, rap artist Cream, film actor Tony Fadil and The Voice entrant and Grace Jones backing singer Angie Brown.
The show is being billed as “watching celebs getting in trouble, cleaning toilets, spilling drinks and trying to entertain in a way they’ve never done before”.
Jim Lewis, who is co-producing it with Danny Howard and Melody Munday and also starred ITV series Deals, Wheels and Steals, said: “I’d like to get as many people down to the pub as possible to witness the mayhem our stars whip-up.
“People can look forward to some mayhem when the celebs are out of their comfort zone.”
All of the show’s famous contestants will be put through their publican paces all day on Saturday and Sunday by the Talk of the Town’s landlords Jackie and Chris Prime, who will then choose a winner.
When the show launches, the person who eventually comes out on-top will be given a cash prize of £100k to go to a charity of their choice.
Simon “showbiz” Gross, who made his name appearing on ITV’s Hell’s Kitchen and Channel 5’s Big Brother this year, said: “I’m excited about this weekend.
“I’ve also got a charity Christmas single out and all the proceeds from that will be going to a homelessness charity.”
Everyone is welcome to see the stars working from 11am on Saturday and Sunday at the Talk of the Town, The Promenade, Leysdown.
