Children enjoyed exploring the great outdoors as part of their learning.
Youngsters from Queenborough Primary took part in Forest School sessions at The Glen in Minster.
Run by the Kent Wildlife Trust, it involved learning how to build dens, climb trees and construct fires.
The programme’s aim was for pupils to learn about the natural environment and use the experience to help improve their classroom studies.
Jasmyn Clarke, a Year 3 teacher at Queenborough, called the project “amazing”.
She said: “The children had such a good experience from it.
“Their learning has improved so much, and it was fun as well as being educational.”
