It was like a scene from the Queen Vic when Lauren Branning from EastEnders turned up at Wetherspoon’s Belle and Lion pub in Sheerness.
Actress Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren in the TV soap, popped into ‘Spoons last Wednesday night with friends for a post-Christmas drink.
It is not the only sighting of the 23-year-old actress on Sheppey. She has also been reported to have been shopping in the B&M store at Neat’s Court.
Belle and Lion manageress Kelly Smith confirmed: “Yes, she was in here. I think she has friends on the Island.”
In the soap Lauren, daughter of Max Branning, has had a son called Louie with Peter Beale.
In real life Jacqueline – voted Sexiest Female by Inside Soap readers – has an 11-month-old daughter Ella with her fiancé Dan Osborne, 24, from The Only Way Is Essex.
Jacqueline was born in Bexley and named Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards in 2012. She and Dan are believed to be planning a September wedding.
