Sheerness Enhancement Association for Leisure will be showing the family favourite in Beachfields Park, off Royal Road, at 8.30pm.

It is the first in a trio of films to be aired in the coming weeks and will be followed by Grease on September 6 and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on September 20.

The films follow a successful run of showings throughout the summer.

The charity raised enough money through donations from audience members at previous , businesses and advertisers, to put on a third film.

Chairman Chris Foulds said SEAL makes no money from the project as it all goes towards holding more free screenings.

He said: “The community paid for it and it is very important they continue to donate towards it so we can put more of them on.”
