Three people were treated by paramedics after a lifeboat was called to rescue a sinking speedboat at the weekend.
The Whitstable RNLI were joined by the Sheerness inshore liefboat and the Sheppey coastguard at 8pm on Sunday to search for the boat in the Warden Bay area of the Isle of Sheppey.
The services were called out by the UK Coastguard at Dover but due to low tide couldn't get close inshore.
They were later told to look around the Minster Beach area where the coastguard teams found three people who had made their own way ashore near to The Leas.
At 9.24pm the Whitstablle lifeboat was stood down and returned to the station and the speedboat is believed to have sunk before help arrived.
All three casualties were passed into the care of paramedics and police were also in attendance.
