Police called to Sheerness High Street as man from Hoo arrested

A man has been arrested after police were called to a report of a disturbance in a town centre.
Officers were sent to the High Street in Sheerness at about 1.40pm.
A man in a silver BMW was parked on the pavement near Bon Marche.
A police spokesman said officers arrested a 25-year-old man from Hoo, near Rochester.
He was detained under suspicion of harassment, malicious communications and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
