A man was twice by the same offender despite being in different towns.

It was reported that the incidents occurred in Sittingbourne and Sheerness on two consecutive days, sparking a police appeal.

At around 11pm on Wednesday (December 15), a man was allegedly approached by a couple who are known to him after he had got out of a vehicle.

The man and woman assaulted him in Tunstall Road, Sittingbourne, leaving him with minor injuries.

The next day on Thursday (December 16), the same man was reported to have attended a house in Petunia Avenue, Sheerness, where the victim was inside.

He was accompanied by a group made up of between three and four men, who attempted to get into the property at around 8pm. They were unsuccessful and left the area.

The offender has been described as white, six feet tall and of medium build. He had blue eyes, was clean shaven and had short dark hair. In the second incident he was wearing a dark black jacket with grey sleeves.
