Eduardas Stankus, of Invicta Road, Sheerness, charged with failing to provide breath sample after crash in Halfway Road, Halfway

A Sheerness man has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath following a crash.

Eduardas Stankus, from Invicta Road, stands accused of not giving a sample when required to do so on in the early hours of this morning.

It follows an incident where officers were called to Halfway Road, Halfway at 12.04am to reports of a road traffic collision involving a Toyota Avensis.

No one was reported injured.

Stankus was arrested at his home address a short while later.

The 36-year-old has been bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates Court on January 27.
