Man questioned over alleged schoolboy attack on a bus in Minster, Sheppey

Police are questioning a man following an alleged attack on a 15-year-old schoolboy.

Officers were called on Tuesday afternoon following an incident on an Arriva bus on Sheppey.

The teenager received injuries to his face - believed to be a cut - and a 17-year-old boy also hurt.

The bus, which was transporting Sheppey academy pupils, was in Queens Road, Minster.

A police spokesman said detectives are reviewing CCTV footage to determine what happened.

The 15-year-old was treated at Sheppey Community Hospital and Medway Maritime Hospital before being released.

It is believed the man, believed to be in his late 30s, left the bus following the incident and headed in the direction of Eastchurch.
