There was a heavy police presence on Sheppey last night as part of a search for a missing woman.
A number of police vehicles were seen at Neats Court, in Queenborough, at about 7.30pm.
Officers were searching for 24-year-old Charlotte Crellin, from Sheerness, who had been reported missing.
Police have this morning confirmed she has been safely located.
The Sheppey Coastguard Team assisted in the search.
A spokesman said: "At 9.30pm, Sheppey, Medway and Herne Bay Coastguard teams were tasked by Dover coastguard to assist Kent Police with a missing person search.
"The teams were stood down at 2.45am."
The police helicopter was also spotted circling over Minster and Sheerness.
