Part of the A249 will be reduced to one lane today for barrier repairs.

The outside lane of the Sheppey-bound carriageway between Bobbing and Grovehurst will be closed to provide a safe working area.

The work, which is weather dependent, will be carried out between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

The inside lane will remain open to traffic.

Road users are urged to take particular care whilst driving past the works and to obey all traffic signs.
