KENT Police are still investigating a road crash in which a young woman died and two other people were badly injured.

The crash, in Brielle Way, Sheerness, claimed the life of 23-year-old Jody Clulow in January this year when the car in which she was a passenger crashed into railings outside Presneill’s Haulage Yard.

A police spokeswoman said that a 27-year-old local man had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving on April 10 and has been bailed to Sittingbourne police station, pending inquiries.

Ms Clulow, of Oak Lane, Minster, near Sheerness, died at the scene.
