Talented students put their skills to the test to revive children’s favourites in a mural.
A-level art pupils at the Isle of Sheppey Academy were struggling to find a place for work experience.
Nathan Hill offered a solution by letting them come into his business, the Sheerness Toy Store, to paint the walls.
They put together a collage of popular playthings from over the years including Pokemon, Power Rangers and 80s classic the Rubix Cube.
That picture was then divided into 16 jigsaw pieces which they are painting on the walls of the Hare Street, Sheerness, shop.
Mr Hill said: “It works both ways because we have a nice looking shop afterwards.
“I’m really impressed with them. Some of the kids that are doing them are really talented. They are really putting a lot of time into it.”
