James McCreadie charged in connection with Sheerness robberies

A third person has been charged in connection with a series of robberies ion the same day.
Three addresses in Alexandra Road, Victoria Street and Queensway, Sheerness were targeted on March 20, this year.
The incidents are being investigated by the Chef Constable’s Crime Squad.
James McCreadie, of Linden Drive, Sheerness, was arrested on Thursday. The 39-year-old was later charged with conspiracy to rob.
The following day, McCreadie appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was conditionally bailed until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on July 16.
Two other arrests had already been made.
Alfie Spain, of Czar Street, Deptford, and Freddie Hanratty, of Gosterwood Street, Deptford, were previously detained in connection with the same investigation on April 29 and April 21 respectively.
Spain, 26, and Hanratty, 19, were both charged with conspiracy to rob and possession of a bladed article. The latter was also charged with two counts of possession of cannabis.
Both men remain remanded in custody to appear at a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed..
