Two arrested after death of Oasis Academy teenager Emre Huseyin

A teenager is being questioned by police following the sudden death of a popular Sheppey schoolboy.

A second suspect has already been questioned and released on bail.

Two teenagers have been arrested by police

The arrests follow the death of 15-year-old Emre Huseyin on Saturday in Sheerness.

A police spokesman said: "As part of enquiries, officers arrested a teenage boy from Orpington on suspicion of drug supply offences.

"He has been bailed, pending further enquiries, until Wednesday February 26.

"A second teenage boy, from Sidcup, was arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences this morning (Monday).

"He remains in custody as enquiries continue."

Emre was a popular pupil at the Oasis Academy, Minster.

Classmates and friends are planning a vigil in his memory at New Road playing fields, Sheerness, on Thursday.
