Arrest after alleged assault at Harts Holiday Park in Leysdown leaves two men needing hospital treatment

A suspect has been arrested after two men were taken to hospital following a disturbance at a caravan park.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses after multiple assaults at Harts Holiday Park in Leysdown.

The incident happened at the caravan site in Leysdown Road, between 1am and 1.45am on Sunday, May 19.

It is reported several people were assaulted by a man and damage was caused to the patio door of a caravan.

Two of the victims, both men, later went to hospital for treatment.

Patrols attended the scene where they arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of assault.

He was taken into custody and later bailed pending further investigation.

Officers are urging witnesses and anyone with relevant mobile phone footage to contact the appeal line if they have not yet spoken to the police.
