Car collides with tree in Leysdown Road, Warden

A woman freed from the wreckage of a car which smashed into a tree was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and possession of cocaine.

The smash happened in Leysdown Road, Warden - on the Isle of Sheppey - at 5.25pm yesterday.

Police were called and a woman, 33, was arrested.

She was taken into custody and remains there this morning.

Officers say no serious injuries were reported.

Kent Police Swale tweeted about the crash, including a picture of the damaged car.
