Two men arrested when armed officers swooped on a Sheppey street have been released on bail.
The duo, who were taken into custody on Saturday night, have to report back to police on Thursday, July 28.
The operation, also believed to have involved a police dog team, happened at about 8.30pm, not far from where Warden Bay Road becomes Jetty Road, Warden.
Police had been called after a man was spotted with a gun in a neighbouring street.
A police spokesman said: "Armed officers stopped a car in Warden Bay Road and arrested two men aged 30 and 25.
"The arrests were in connection with an earlier disturbance reported in Cliff View Gardens in which a man is reported to have been seen with a firearm."
The 25-year-old, from Warden, was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and the 30-year-old, of Minster, on suspicion of aiding and abetting.
