A man has been arrested in connection with a £6,000 smash-and-grab raid on a jewellers in Sheerness.
Women's jewellery - including earrings, bangles, bracelets and rings - were stolen from the window display at Gemini in High Street at 3.10am on Monday.
There was also around £5,000 of damage to the shop as the shutters were forced open, three panes of glass smashed and marks on the front door from an attempt to pry it open.
The suspect, who is aged 35 and lives in Sheerness, was arrested yesterday.
He has been released on police bail until August 19.
