Police are investigating after a fire broke out inside a farm building this morning.
Firefighters were called to the site in Scocles Road, Minster, at around 8.30am.
Two crews, one from the Sheppey station and the other from Eastchurch, were sent.
They used hose reel jets to put out the blaze which destroyed the caravan and damaged part of the roof of the 60 sq m outbuilding.
Horses had been moved from the vicinity before the firefighters arrived.
Firefighters stayed until 9.40am to make sure the area was safe and keep an eye on potentially combustible cylinders inside the building, which adjoins a garage.
Police have arrested a 56-year-old man from Sittingbourne on suspicion of arson.
He remains in custody and inquiries are ongoing.
