A man and a boy have been arrested after the car they were in collided with two parked cars.
The stolen bronze Vauxhall Cavalier was being followed by a marked police car before the crash in Winstanley Road, Sheerness at 12.45pm today (Friday).
A police spokesman said: “The driver and passenger in the car were treated by ambulance crews at the scene and then taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
“At the time of the collision the car was being followed by a marked police car after it failed to stop for officers who were out on routine patrol.”
Road closures and diversions were in place around Trinity Road, Winstanley Road, and Strode Crescent, as officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit carried out investigations.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the collision and who may have seen the car before the collision or may have witnessed the collision itself.
