Meanwhile, a session has taken place to record a CD which will be sold to raise even more money for the appeal.
It was the brain wave of Jody Bodiam, of Lovell Road, Minster, and 12 artists went along to record tracks for the album at his house on Monday.
Kyle Barton, who runs mobile recording company Stegosaurus Studios, took his portable equipment along to record the disc and is now putting the finishing touches to it before it can be released.
To find out who was involved with the CD and where you can get your copy, see next week’s Times Guardian.
Members of the Isle of Sheppey Round Table are also getting on board to help Oliver – they are raffling eight exclusive Round Table pin badges for the appeal.
Oliver’s mum Natalie has said that if anyone has collected money for the appeal but does not know where to send it, it can be dropped into the Times Guardian office or John Copland and Son Solicitors in High Street, Sheerness.
