Motorists are facing more disruption when the Sheppey Crossing is closed on weekends in April and May.
It follows long queues and congestion in Iwade when the bridge was shut for resurfacing works on Saturday, March 28.
Further repairs will mean the Sheppey-bound carriageway will not be open from Friday, April 24, to Sunday, April 26, and Friday, May 8, to Sunday, May 10.

The Sittingbourne-bound lane will shut from Friday, May 15, to Sunday, May 17, and Friday, May 29, to Sunday, May 31.
All closures will take place between 8pm on Friday and 11am on Sunday.
The Highways Agency says these times were chosen because traffic levels will be at their lowest.

Signs will be displayed weeks in advance
The A249 will be shut from the Iwade junction and the new Cowstead Corner roundabout and vehicles will be diverted via the Kingsferry Bridge and Sheppey Way.
The works were originally scheduled for November but had to be put back due to bad weather.
