A KENT mother of five is planning a big spending spree after she hit the jackpot - scooping more than £51,000 at bingo.
Gillian Dare, 42 who says she would play the game every night if she could, won the National Bingo Game prize of £50,000 plus a further regional prize of £1,063 at Kings Club in the Broadway in Sheerness on Saturday night.
She completed a full house in 39 numbers, the fewest anywhere across the country.
Mrs Dare said: "I usually play about four times a week, sometimes with my daughter. I never dreamt I would win that much.
"I just love playing the game itself and enjoy the night out." She says she usually spends about £20 a night and has only ever won £10 at the most."
Her husband, Clive, a civil engineer, occasionally plays bingo when she can persuade him to go. The couple, who used to work at the Napier Hotel in Alma Road, Sheerness, have three sons and two daughters, all teenagers.
Mrs Dare works as a customer advisor at B Wise store in Sheerness High Street. She intends to spend some of the money on decorating the house, buying a new car and enjoying a holiday.
She proposes to go on playing the game. She stressed: "I won't stop going now, I love it too much."
