The bomb squad has blown up a Second World War hand grenade dug up by a gardener.
John Hauxwell was working at his home in Plough Lane, Minster, this morning when he made the shock discovery.
He called police who soon arrived and closed off the area while notifying the Army's Explosive Ordnance Disposal team.

Mr Hauxwell, who said the discovery had his "stomach going a bit", spotted the munition after it became stuck on his garden fork at 11.15am.
He said: "I was digging away in the garden and then all of a sudden I felt a thump, so I pulled the fork out and there was a grenade stuck to it.
"I was a bit frightened at the time but I put it to one side and I called the police, who were quick."
The grenade was blown up in a nearby field about 1.20pm before the soldiers moved on to their next assignment.
They confirmed it was Second World War-era with Mr Hauxwell speculating the area was home to an Army barracks back then.
The police removed the cordon soon after the explosion and traffic return to normal.
