Bonfire spreads to garden fence in Sheerness

Firefighters were called out after a bonfire began to spread yesterday (Friday).

Two fire engines were sent to Warden Road, Eastchurch, at 7.05pm, after the fire spread to a nearby fence.

Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

No casualties were reported and firefighters left the scene at 7.41pm.
