A 15-year-old boy, who can't be named for legal reasons, has been remanded in youth custody charged with the same offence at Maidstone magistrates' court.
Christopher Bones, 20, of Dorothy Gardens in Dagenham, and Jamie West, 19, of Cliffe View Gardens in Bay View, appeared in the dock together, with both of their solicitors choosing to make no representations.
Matthew Terry, 20, of Grantham Road in Newham, appeared next ahead of 44-year-old Mark Terry, of the same address.
All four were remanded in custody ahead of a bail hearing at Maidstone Crown Court within the next few days.
The defendants were charged with the 34-year-old’s murder yesterday.
A 32-year old-woman from Manor Park in London was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice. She has been bailed until Friday, October 4 pending further investigations.
Mr Pocock’s half naked body was found lying on the beach in Warden earlier this month.
A post mortem revealed he died from head injuries.
