History enthusiasts are being asked to nominate their favourite endangered buildings across the county as part of a campaign to save them.
Every year The Victorian Society assembles a list of the top 10 endangered buildings in England and Wales, shortlisted by architecture and conservation experts.
If a building appears on the list, the publicity generated could help save it.
In 2015, the Grade I-listed Sheerness Boat Store was included on the list but still lies empty.
The disused building is the world’s earliest surviving example of the use of an all-metal frame and panel structure, following the demolition of Crystal Palace and the first Kensington Museum.
To nominate, contact media@victoriansociety.org.uk with brief details of the buildings and at least one photo on or before Friday, July 7. The new top 10 will be announced on Wednesday, September 13.
