A car accident is causing delays this afternoon.

It happened at the crossroads of Queenborough Corner on the Isle of Sheppey around midday.

All emergency services are at the scene and traffic appears to have been stopped.

An ambulance spokesman said: "At 11.39am we responded to a collision between a car and lorry at Main Road, Queenborough with an ambulance and two response cars.

"Two patients were treated on scene and one was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital."

Firefighters had to use rescue equipment to free a woman.
