Car crashes on Sheppey Crossing

Nobody was injured when a purple Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision on the Sheppey Crossing on Tuesday morning.

Police say no other vehicle was involved in the crash at 7.40am. Traffic was diverted on to the Kings Ferry Bridge and the Island–bound carriageway was not fully reopened until 9.10am.

The previous evening, a Citroen Picasso and a Dutch lorry were involved in a collision at the Neats Court roundabout on the A249 near Queenborough
