CCTV appeal after assault in Sheerness High Street at junction with Broadway

CCTV images have been released of several men following an assault in a high street.

A man was taken to hospital with head and leg injuries after the attack in Sheerness on Friday (March 21).

Police were called to the incident at the street’s junction with Broadway shortly after 6.30pm.

But, when officers arrived with paramedics, the group is said to have dispersed.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries not considered to be life-threatening.

Investigators are now looking to speak to the men in the CCTV pictures.
