Police hunt after cash and war medals stolen in burglary at The Aviator pub, Queenborough Corner

Second World War medals were among items stolen during a raid on a pub.

A CCTV image has been released in the hunt for the burglar who targeted The Aviator in Queenborough Road, Queenborough Corner.

The burglary at the Shepherd Neame-run pub happened between 8 and 9pm on Monday evening.

The culprit is thought to have got into the building through a kitchen window.

As well as the medals, cash and personal documents were taken.

A Shepherd Neame spokesman said: “We can confirm that a break-in took place at The Aviator on the evening of Monday, October 3.

“Our team has been helping the police with their investigation into the incident.”
