A man reported missing has now been found after a search was launched by the coastguard and police.

Daniel Huggett was last seen in the Lower Road area near Minster at around 8.30pm yesterday (April 10).

At 6.12am, the HM Coastguard was called to assist Kent Police with the search.

A rescue helicopter from Lydd was sent out and had been spotted circling the area today.

Officers have since confirmed this afternoon that the 34-year-old has been found “safe and well”.
