Another company has moved into a new multi-million-pound business park.

ProXL, which specialises in paint products for the automotive industry, has moved to the 38,000 sq ft Walbrook Business Park in Queenborough.

The six-acre site has been built just off the A249, opposite Neats Court, by Queenborough-based company Medichem Properties, which was founded by self-made millionaire Tom Allsworth.

Mr Allsworth, who left school at 16, has spent £18 million on the venture, which was unveiled in October 2022.

The park features office and warehouse space spread across two floors.

In May last year, catalogue retailer, Easylife Ltd, was the first to take up residence at Walbrook Park West, a four-acre sister site nearby, built for one tenant as its head office and distribution centre.

The park, which is opposite Morrisons and the Aldi distribution centre, includes a reception area with meeting rooms for hire, a café, post room and administration services.

All together, the Walbrook Business Park includes 30 units ranging from 1,000 sq ft to 32,000 sq ft for national and local companies to share.

ProXL has moved from Sittingbourne’s Eurolink to Queenborough as part of its expansion.

It’s new location is more than twice the size of its old home, eliminating ProXL’s need for a second 5,000 sq ft warehouse.

It is hoped this approach will streamline logistics while cutting overall energy consumption and reducing carbon emissions.
