Emergency services had to deal with two separate crashes on the Isle of Sheppey.
Police and ambulance crews were called to a collision involving five vehicles in Halfway Road, Halfway, shortly after 7.20pm last night.
A man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Meanwhile, a two-car crash also brought traffic to a standstill at Eastchurch.
It happened on the Lower Road, near to the junction with Eastchurch Road, at around 6.30pm.
Police, an ambulance and two recovery trucks were called to the scene.
One man reported injuries, but the severity of them is not known.
