A crash near a busy crossing is causing traffic problems.

Motorists are facing delays on the A249 between Sheppey Crossing and the A2500, on the Isle of Sheppey.

The road is partially blocked in both directions due to an accident between the Sheppey Way Lower Halstow turn off and the Leysdown turn off.

Drivers are being told to approach with caution.

Police have been approached for more information.
