The waiting is finally over – the Times Guardian’s Cute Kids’ competition is here at last.

From today (Wednesday) to this Saturday, we will be taking photographs at Tesco’s Bridge Street store.

This year we have teamed-up with Sittingbourne-based photographer Melvin Sillcock and entering couldn’t be easier.

All you have to do is fill out the form from the Times Guardian and take it and your child along to Tesco where Melvin will be set up near the cards aisle.

He will take the pictures and proud parents then have the opportunity to buy the photos next week.

He will be back at Tesco on September 30, October 1 and October 2 displaying his work.

Entrants’ parents must go back and view the photos and ensure all the entry details are correct.

Once everything is in order, pictures will be submitted to the Times Guardian.

The overall winner will take away the first prize of £400 cash plus a 20”x16” framed photograph worth £395.

The two runners-up receive £50 each and 15”x12” frames worth £295.

There are no age categories – the three children who receive the most votes will win the prizes.

Melvin will be there each day from 10am to 4pm with a lunch break between 1pm and 2pm.

If you have any questions about the competition, call us on 01795 580300.
