The voting is underway in this year's Cute Kids' competition.
This time, we have teamed-up with Sittingbourne-based photographer Melvin Sillcock who took pictures of youngsters at Tesco, Sheerness, last month.
In total, we had more than 200 entrants from right across the area – proving the contest remains a popular part of the Sheppey calendar.
Voting could not be easier, all you have to do is buy a copy of the Times Guardian, find the child you believe to be the cutest, note their name and reference number and fill out the form on page 26.
Remember that you must send in an original voting form from the paper – photocopies will not be accepted.
Also, you can include all your votes in one envelope – you don’t have to send them individually or in batches - send them in bulk if you can.
As well as the voting form, you can vote by text message.
To do this, text KID, leave a space and then add the photo reference number plus your name and address and send to 87474. All votes cost 50p plus your standard network charge.
The overall winner of the competition will take away the first prize of £400 cash plus a 20”x16” framed photograph worth £395.
The two runners-up receive £50 each and 15”x12” frames worth £295.
There are no age categories – the three children who receive the most votes will win the prizes.
The closing date for all votes – text and forms – is 11.59pm on November 8, 2010.
The second and final batch of photographs will appear in next week’s edition. If you have any questions about the competition, call the Times Guardian on 01795 580300.
