Police and ambulance crews were sent to the scene of a collision between a car and a pedal cycle.

A male cyclist was injured and treated at the scene between Warden Bay Road and Harty Ferry Road, Leysdown.

The accident happened just after 2pm and caused long delays for west-bound traffic on Leysdown Road, the B2231.

At this stage, it is not known how badly injured the cyclist was.
