Sheppey artist Richard Jeferies switched from painting giant murals to building tiny rooms for Christmas.
Neighbours became hooked on watching his home in James Street, Sheerness, as he transformed the front window into a giant advent calendar.
The father-of-four created 24 different rooms and added them one day at a time.

Richard, 54, said: "Every year I try to do something different other than tinsel and bells. Once I had a toy shop and half-size Dalek.
"This year I thought of doing a little doll's house room but my wife Fiona suggested I do one room for every day.
"Everything is homemade, from using matchsticks for table legs to coffee stirrers for rafters."
Each of his four children also made a room.
The final piece was an attic perched on top of the house. He said: "It is just like my own attic with unused Christmas decorations, skulls and old computers but, alas, no dragon."
The first room he made was a library with books from his hero Terry Pratchett.
Others included an observatory in homage to the late astronomer Sir Patrick Moore complete with telescope and a pool room with changing cubicles which harped back to the trauma of his school days learning to swim at Camberwell Baths.
Richard has even posted behind-the-scenes videos of how some of the rooms were made on his Facebook page.
He said: "It certainly created a lot of interest, especially with youngsters and their parents on the school run."
Richard, a trained draughtsman, is no stranger to creating a stir.
Earlier this year he repainted Titan, the ship's figurehead in Marine Parade near his home, organised a chalk art festival on the promenade at Minster Leas, designed part of the Remembrance Day display for the Sheppey Gateway and Fabrics-A-Go-Go haberdashery in Sheerness High Street and masterminded a giant mural at Rose Street Primary School.
He was also presented with the chairman's choice trophy by the Sheppey Sea Cadets for his wall art at the unit's headquarters in Barton's Point Coastal Park.
Richard, who runs Squarecube Artisans, also helped design this year's Sheppey carnival float.
