Youngsters spent months in preparation before staging an all singing all dancing production of a classic musical.
Almost 100 nine to 13-year-olds at Danley Middle School perfected their singing and dancing to put on three nights of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The show opened on Wednesday and some 500 parents, family, and friends went along to the school to see the spectacular.
Pupils spent months preparing for the show which featured a dance troupe, a 40-strong choir, and colourful set designed and painted by the cast.
Most of the performance was musical and a lot of the choreography was put together by the cast which has been rehearsing since March after the audition process.
The show has been a firm favourite at the school and has been performed in years past so a technicolor dreamcoat was already waiting to be worn by 12-year-old Cian Graham, who took the lead role.
Three performances took place on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
The children produced a “fantastic and energetic” show which was directed by head of music David Hall and co-director Roisin Spruce.
Mr Hall said: “They have all worked tirelessly to put this together and it is a fantastic show. It is extremely energetic and the sets were spectacular, even down to the detail on the camels and the snake.
“Fortunately we have loads of really good talent at the school. Apart from one or two bits it is entirely sung so very demanding on the cast, but it is a favourite and everyone has worked so hard.”
