A drug dealer, who was called 16 times while officers searched his car, has been jailed.
Herbert Sewell, of Deptford, was stopped by police in Scrapsgate Road, Minster, Sheppey.
The 38-year-old had 40 wraps of a mixture of cocaine and heroin in his blue Vauxhall Zafira when police stopped it just before midnight on Monday, March 12, last year.
Officers also found two mobile phones and a small amount of cash inside the car, which was seized.
While police searched the car, one of Sewell's phones rang 16 times with calls from people believed to be potential customers, Maidstone Crown Court heard.
Officers pulled him over after receiving information through their radios saying the car was suspected to be involved in supplying class A drugs.
He admitted having heroin and cocaine with intent to supply and was sentenced to two years in prison when he appeared on Friday.
Investigating officer PC Nick Shaw said: "Sewell's sole aim for visiting the Isle of Sheppey was to supply class A drugs to people struggling with substance abuse.
"There is no place for people who travel into our county to supply drugs and we are continually carrying out proactive enforcement activity to identify offenders and bring them to justice, as this case shows."
