Police and paramedics were called to a crash involving three cars this morning.
The crash happened in Lower Road, Minster, near the Barton Hill Drive junction, shortly after 10am.
Two fire engines were sent to the accident on one of Sheppey's busiest roads.
Crews assisted a woman out of a vehicle before handing her into the care of paramedics.
An ambulance spokesman said: "One crew was called just after 10am to reports of a three-car crash.
"A woman in the middle car was suffering from back and neck pain.
"She was assessed at the scene before being taken to Medway Maritime Hospital."
Police said the woman's injuries were "not reported to be serious".
The force advised motorists to expect delays while the Lower Road was blocked.
The road reopened at 12.10pm.
