Pictures show the devastating impact of a fire that ripped through a large house last night.
Images reveal the damage caused by the blaze in Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey, with crews at the scene for 14 hours.
The fire broke out yesterday evening in the roof of the property on the corner of Scrapsgate and The Broadway.
An eyewitness told KentOnline it started just before 6pm, and at its height six fire engines were working to extinguish the flames.
Residents living nearby were urged to close their windows and doors due to the amount of smoke, but that advice was later lifted as operations were scaled back.
As of 9pm, three fire engines and a technical rescue unit remained on site and crews were said to have been making good progress.
Firefighters left the scene at 8.40am this morning after operations had finished.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
