The future of a discount store at a Queenborough retail park is under threat.
The Original Factory Shop's branch at Neats Court, on Sheppey, is on a list of 33 stores that could be set to close.
Staff are understood to have been told of the threat at a meeting this week and a final decision on the store's closure is expected to be made on Monday, July 9.
The discount chain, which stocks branded names at factory prices, opened at Neats Court in December 2015.
Its potential closure would see two vacant stores at the retail park, as one of the larger units remains empty.
Poundland left its premises in March last year and moved into its neighbouring store, which was previously home to household discount store, GHM! (Guess How Much).
The brands became part of the same group after the takeover of Poundland in 2016 by South African firm Steinhoff.
The retail section of the site also features a Sports Direct, B&M Bargains, Iceland and a Cancer Research UK superstore.
An Original Factory Store spokesman said the list remained under consideration for closure and no decision had been made.
